Tyler McNeely

Tyler McNeely brings over 10 years of experience to Grinnell Cafe. Born in Houston, Texas and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, his passion for cooking started at a young age. His flair for southern and cajun cuisine is present in several of his dishes. Tyler has worked for some Chicago’s most established restaurants including Bavette’s and Ina Mae Tavern. Tyler is now ready to manage his own kitchen and show Chicago his talent as Head Chef at Grinnell Cafe.

Jesse Morris & Anthony White

Entrepreneurs Jesse and Anthony take pride in working for themselves. With experience in finance, sales and real estate, their new venture, Grinnell Cafe, is a salute to Jesse’s time at Southern Illinois University Carbondale - where he worked at Grinnell Food Hall, serving some of the best sandwiches and salads on campus. Jesse and Anthony have partnered with Head Chef Tyler McNeely who brings 10 years of experience and passion to the team.
